    This was the first major battle of the Civil War:Bull Run.This was the battle that sent the North retreating because of bad leadership.It all started when Thomas Jackson takes Harpers Hill with reinforments while standing like a stonewall.Through this he got the alias Stonewall Jackson.After the hill was taken they had no choice but to retreat.

    This was a battle in Antietam,Maryland between the South and North.This was the bloodiest war in U.S. history before Gettysburg.This was a battle between Lee and The slow McCellan who only won by luck even after he made a mistake.McCellan found Lee's plan in wrapped in cigars.After he found these plans he still had a slow start which ultimately led him winning the war and getting FIRED!!!!!!!!

    This was a battle that lasted four days between the Confederates and The Union.This was ongoing battle until Burnsides stupid decision of attacking areas heavily guarded by the Confederate Army.This resulted in staggering casualties.Then Jackson flanked the right of The Union Army but got knocked back by a counterattack but he stilled prevelled as it was a crushing victory for the Confederates.After poor leadership from Burnside he was removed by President Lincoln.

    This was a Proclamation that set all the slaves in the South free.Which angered the south and made them mad.But Lincoln gave slaves the opportunity to fight for the North and end the war.

    This was the utmost worst loss in a battle for the North.This was the battle Lee is known for as his greatest victory.He overcame the odds.He made a bold move by dividing his troops into two groups.But his surprise attacked ultimately caught Hooker off guard and caused decemation.In this battle like Gettysburg South had the high ground and holded off the North.After this war Stonewall Jackson got shot by his men on accident and had his arm amputated and later died of pneumonia.
