There was no solider killed. And Anderson surrendered to Fort Sumter on April 13, 1861. The war at Fort Sumter lasted 12,13 in April 1861
  • Bull Run

    The General was Irvin McDowell . He had 28,450 soldiers, there was 460 killed, 1,124 wounded, 1,312 missing. The battle was fought in Virginia. He began by shelling the confederate across bull run. They didn't have as many soldiers but they had more tacticks and things they could use.
  • Monitor vs. Merrimack

    March 8, 1862. John L worden was the union general. That day Virginia setup ruck the Cumberland with its 1,500lb iron ram , smashing a big hole throw the wooden hull. The union had 1,400 troops. This had a big impact on the civil war cause it was making people mad that they were doing it

    This battle took place in Fredricksburg Virrgina. Strategies: confederate throws wave after wave of troops. Advantages: confederate was behind a stone wall.
  • Vicksburg

    Bruins burg Mississippi. Union leader- Ulysses S. Grant. Confederate leader- John C. Pembelton. Grant conducted a surprise landing. The union got the Mississippi. The union had to go to the confederate. The confederate didn't know.
  • Gettysburg

    The General was George G. Meade. There was 93,921 Union soldiers . He was moving troops trying to kill her other troops, there was 51,000 soldiers killed. The union had 3,155 solider ghat were killed, 14,529 that were wounded, and 5,365 missing and captured. The battle lasted till July 3, 1863
  • Sherman's March to the Sea

    the General was Sherman. He had 62,000 troops. The confederate was blocking Sherman's way so he couldn't get out. He went through Georgia. Sherman was distroying everything in his path. This march to the sea had a big impact on the civil was because he was just killing people so that he won. The March to the sea was fought near Griswoldville.
