Marshall Plan- The President Harrry S. Truman had signed the Economic Recovery Act of 1948. It was known as the Marshall Plan because of George Marshall, who had proposed that the United States would provide economic assistance. -

NATO was established to keep comminism under bay. 12 Nations where included, including the United Kingdom and the United States. NATO was also the first peacefull military alliance the United States entered into outside of the Western Hemisphere. -

Warsaw Pact was a political and military alliance. The Soviet Union had created this Pact because of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) , it was also a security alliance concluded between the United Sates, Canada, and Western European nations. -

Fidel Castro had send about 100 people to attack Moncada army barracks but that had come to a fail. He never gave up until he finally took over which it lasted about 45 years. -

Taking down the Berlin wall was the beggining of the end of the Cold War. As soon as the wall was down people were celebrating because the could finally have freedom. -
Germany Reunited
After 45 years of being against each other Germany had reunited. East and West Germany come together a month later after the wall of Berllin was destroyed what is known as "Unity Day." -
End of the Cold War
As soon as the Soviet Union crumbled officially, this had marked the end of the Cold War.
