    It was sometimes called the Crimea Conference. It was code named the Argonaut Conference. It was a WW2 meeting for the heads of each major state that had played a part in. It basically covered how a post war Europe would look and how to shape that. it was in relation to the Potsdam Conference also

    The United States tested the very 1st atomic bomb here in trinity, on 5:29 of july 16th, 1945. the bomb as in an area about 35 miles (56 km) southeast of Socorro, New Mexico. there were 425 people present on the weekend of the test

    The participants of this were the United States, the USSR, and the United Kingdom. Stalin, Churchill, and Truman were the ones attending this conference as they discussed how to divide Nazi Germany into its respectable areas

    the dates are agust 6th and 9th. i just wanted to note that here. the a-bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. it was a last effort to put japan into a surrender and for a US victory in the pacific. The bombs also killed at least 129,000 people in japan, putting it on a high for civilian casualties.

    The United Nations was established on October 24'h of 1945 and it helped to eliminate the former failed project of the Leauge Of Nations. The main job of the UN was to help establish world peace between all countries. to this date, it has mainly worked.

    this was the eventual communist takeover of china through its civil war. the Nationalists of china had much more power over china at the time so it was much easier to take over china. with 2.68 million militias on the communist side and 4.3 million on the nationilast side, there was war at hand. (Some of nationalist troops are poorly trained and equipped). eventially the nationalist party was on the brink of defeat in 1948 and eventually lost to the communist side

    This was a speech from Winston Churchill given from the center of the US, Westminster College. The speech is formally known as the "Sinews of Peace" speech and had addressed the problems that many people faced over in europe

    This was a tie when President Truman presented an address in front of a joint congress, where he asked for $400 million in aid for the people of Greece and Turkey, for reconstructing after the war.
