    The cold war was the geopolitical, economical struggle between two powers,The USA and the USSR. The two were always allies, never enemies but after defeating Hitler's Germany and Japan during WWII,the two world superpowers were against each other. It all started with the USA and USSR starting to disagree on a lot of topics, the powers didn't agree on a majority of big important things.This event was a big deal because it was powers who no longer had trust in one another,going against each other.

This was important because it was a primary source to unify and strengthen the Western Allies.

The couple was sentence to death.
