The nuetrality Acts were passed by the Us Congress in the 1930's in response to the growing turmil in Asia and Europe which eventually led to the war. They were spurred by the growth in the isolationism and non interventionism in the US following its costly involvement in world war ! and is sought to ensure that the US would become entangled again in foreing conflicts. -
