    Columbus Sets Sail

    Christophor Columbus sets sail in the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria. He reached America on October 12,1942. Columbus landed in the Caribbean ,but thought he landed in the West Indies. Therefore he called the people who lived in that area Indians.
