Comparing the Article of the Constitution

  • George Washington

    George Washington was born in February 22, 1732. He was part of a Military Army to help them protect the Thirteen Colonies. He was an American soldier and a statesman who served as the First president of the Unites States of America. During the time of the Revolutionary War, he served a Commander-In-Chief, as one Founding Father. At the age 67, he died in December 14th, 1799 in the Virginia Family Tomb.
  • James Madison

    James Madison was born in March 16, 1751. He was the fourth President of the United States who was hailed as the "Father of the Constitution". His job was to promote the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He was a member of the U.S. House Representatives from Virginia's 15th District. At the age 85, he died in June 28, 1836 in Orange, Virginia.
  • The First Continental Congress

    The First Continental Congress was a meeting from twelve of the Thirteen Colonies proceeded by the Stamp Act because of the Taxing. This was started at September 5 to October 26,1774.
    The First Continental Congress was meant to help the colonists fight the British Soldiers (also known as "Red Coats") to stop the King from taxing them and to win their Independence and Freedom, but unfortunately, The Congress failed.
  • The Second Continental Congress

    After the First Continental Congress failed, The Second Continental Congress was another meeting/delegate from the Thirteen Colonies. This Congress was started during the summer in the year 1775 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Congress was meant to start a second war with the "Red Coats" and the King. Raising their armies, and convincing the colonists to join, they won the war which means that The Second Continental Congress succeeded. After this war, the colonists won their Freedom.
  • Purpose of the Confederation

    This Confederation had a purpose to direct the American Revolutionary war between the Natives and the Europeans to keep them from starting another war and to prevent some issues.
  • The beginning of the Revolutionary War

    At the beginning of the Revolutionary war, the Government and the Congress felt like they wanted more power and union to direct the thirteen colonies and to defeat Great Britain. During the early time of the Revolutionary War, the Government believed that the new nation (United States) was supposed to be an appropriate nation and in order.

  • Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration of Independence was created around June and July 1776, copied in the National Archives. This was created by Thomas Jefferson to explain the colonists how Great Britain and the Thirteen Colonies were separated.
    This Declaration was meant to help the colonists fight for their Freedom instead of letting the King and the British ruling the country and taxing them.
  • The Constitution

    The American Confederation was an agreement from the Thirteen Colonies to serve as the first American Constitution. This was created in November 15, 1777 by the Congress. Their purpose was to replace the constitution in September 13, 1778.
  • The End of the Revolutionary War

    The America Revolution ended in the early year of 1783 by the Treaty of Paris (France), it was a war between Great Britain and the Thirteen Colonies. After this war, the Colonists and the American Indians have won their Independence and their Freedom. Then, th Congress served as a State for months, but it failed. The Congress had no power to help attend the Legislatures.
  • Bill of Rights

    The Bill of Rights was created by James Madison in December 15 1791. This document was located in the National Archives. They added this document to the Article of Constitution because the Government wanted more power to direct the thirteen colonies and to prevent other places from taking over the United States.
