While Holiday is away, the camp has a party, which ends badly when a shapeshifter, and another supernatural start fighting each other. Kylie went to the cemetery to see if she could pick up more information about the new ghost, who has givenm her visions of the death. Derek comes back, with a new vampire, Ellie. Holiday and Kylie get a vision of a funeral. Parents' day is upon them and Sara, an old friend, is coming. pg. 200 Total (1395) -

Parents day went over pretty well, but Lucus's grandmother doesn't approve because Kylie is not a werewolf. Kylie's pattern shows that she is human, but everyone knows that it's not right. After a little fight with Lucus, he brings her many roses to make up. The camp is preparing for the new school year, and many new people are going in and out, so "shadow duty" has been even more strict, but the rogue vampire, Red, has found a way to warn Kylie that she is in danger. pg. 48 Total (1443) -
Chapter 35-End pg. 341-387
Ellie dies trying to save Derek from one of the bad vampires hunting down Kylie. She goes back, in spirit, to tell Kylie where to find Derek, and Kylie follows. As everyone starts walking back, Kylie gets cut off and Mario, the vampire trying to kill Kylie, tries once more. But then Red, who is supposedly evil, dies trying to save Kylie. The ghost turns out to be Kylie's real grandmother, and Kylie has a date to meet her real grandfather. She is a chameleon, no one knows. pg. 46 Total (1489)
