    Fort Necessity
    This took place in Pennsylvania. Washington bulit this for quickly to try to protect him men from the French. But because it was built in a low swamp it didn't work that well so he had to surrender.
  • Fort Duquesne

    Fort Duquesne
    This battle took place in Western Pennsylvania or what is now Pittsburgh(named after William Pitt). This is important because General Braddock's troops were defeited by the Native Americans and the French. That gave them control of the land.
  • Johnson and Hendrick Triumph At Lake George

    Johnson and Hendrick Triumph At Lake George
    This battle took place at what is today, Lake George. It was one of the first magor English victories in the war. Because they got control of the lake it cut off the abbility to send supplies up the river to the French.
  • Seven Years War

    This took place in Europe. The English declare war on the French offcially starting the war over there. And there it is called the Seven Years War.
  • Fort Oswego

    This took place in New York. The British surrender the fort. French commander Montcalm finds that his Native American allies killed his soldiers,and kept his soldies as slaves. Because of this he loses many of his 3000 men.

    This took place in upstate New York. After the British surrendered the Native Americans attacked and killed 185 peple and took 310 British captive. That was almost 10% of the people in that area.

    This took place in Londen. Pitt promises the colonists payment to try to persuay them into fighting. He also sends thousands of British soldiers to America which eventually helps them win the war.

    This took place in Quebec and Western Pennsylvania. This was important because they got control all of the land and rivers in that area cutting supplies to the French.

    This battle took place on the US/Canadian border. This was important because the British were able to take control of all the rivers and lake surrouding it keeping the French out. The only way they could get supplies to the French was by land, much slower then going up river.

    This battle took place in Quebec. This was important for the British because the got control of all of the surrounding lakes and rivers cutting off the supplies going up river to the French.

    This took place somewhere in the American colonies. This was important because the Native Americans were able to help the British and Americans fight the war. They tought them how to use their suroundings wisely. Because they joined them the British and Americans were able to win the war.
  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris took place in Paris, France. This ends the French and Indian War. All land east of the Mississippi River and Canada goes to England. All land west of Mississippi and New Orleans goes to Spain.
