    Charles Darwin is now in Rio Negro, Argentina where he searches through the low grass lands with the locals.

    The Beagle had been damaged so FitzRoy decided to lead an inland expedition along the Santa Cruz River while the Beagle was being repaired.
  • The Beagle is Fixed

    The Beagle was finally repaired and it went on to round Cape Horn and then reached the west coast of South America.
  • The Beagle Surveyed

    The Beagle continued to travel and they surveyed archipelagos in southern Chile.
  • His Mountain Experience

    Darwin encounters his first mountain, Mount Osorno erupt. An earthquake also took place. He was traumatized by what the earthquake had left behind.
  • The Beagle Set Sail

    The Beagle had studied South America, so it set sail to look for new places.
  • Born Englishman

    Darwin arrived in Sydney, Australia. He discovered new animal species that he had never seen before. He was confused as to why the animals are different in Australia than in the other places he visited.
  • Darwin's Jungle Experience

    Darwin was now discovering the jungle life. He witnessed creatures that he had never seen before, however, he was getting home and sea sick at this point on his voyage.
  • Darwin's Returned

    Since Darwin wanted to come back home, he did. He reached home late at night and he was happy.
