Galapagos Islands
Some of the things that Darwin find that is unique to the Galapagos Islands id plants , bird , tortoises but yet they seem mysteriously related to mainland species. Also he observes the marine iguana which is distinctive and no other iguana swims or feeds in the ocean. Some of the animals were strange to their surroundings like the blue footed booby which had bright colors. Back in London, Darwin is stunned to learn about the specimens he thought included many different birds were all finches. -

In order to test his theory of atoll formation , he studies coral reefs growing around islands. He was so glad that they visited the islands where the formation was rank high amongst the wonderful objects of this world -
