Also he observes the marine iguana which is distinctive and no other iguana swims or feeds in the ocean. Some of the animals were strange to their surroundings like the blue footed booby which had bright colors. Back in London, Darwin is stunned to learn about the specimens he thought included many different birds were all finches.
