Expedition
Explorers from England journey the sea in search of new land. -
New Island
After a long expedition the explorers found an ideal large island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.The explorers claim the island for their own and named it Porlexia, however they soon realized that the island was inhabited by a tribe of hostile people native to that island. A few explorers went back to England for reinforcements. Soon their was a war between the natives and explorers. This lasted for 10 years. -
Treaty
After 10 years of fighting with the natives, the natives finally surrendered and left the island. A treaty is put in place that basically says as long as the natives leave the island no harm will come them. -
Expansion
Once the island was officially England's property, massive amounts of settlers sailed over to the island to live there and start a new life. -
New government
Most of the citizens that came to the island were tired of the system of parliament. So a vote was held in order to create a new type of government. Almost all citizens voted to create a democracy. So they voted for laws and their very first president. -
Invasion
A few years later, the Japanese found the island of Porlexia and wanted it for their own. They camped out on the bay and a few days later they attacked some villages close to the beach. On June, 24 1900 war was declared against the Japanese. -

The war for the island of Porlexia last 4 years and during that time the people of Porlexia realized that they needed to divid the powers of the government. -
"Declaration of the Laws of the Land"
On July 7, 1903, the "Declaration of the Laws of the Land" was passed by the president and voted for by the citizens. This declared Porlexia would have a three branch government in order to have a more effect government. The "Declaration of the Laws of the Land" also created a congress, house of reps, and supreme court. By dividing the power the government of Porlexia was able to become more effective and overcome the Japanese, later winning the war. -

Peace and Democracy
After the war with the Japanese all was peaceful. Because of the "Declaration of the laws of the land" Porlexia was able to become a fully effective democracy. For over 100 years the people of Porlexia have lead peaceful lives thanks to the democracy they live in and will continue to do so.
