Redfern Address
Prime minister Paul Keating made an address to a crowd of 2,000 in Redfern, this is where he speaks about the blame for those Indigenous Australians which lies with non-Aboriginal Australians.
The speech, known as the Redfern Address, is know as one of the most important and significant speeches said by an Australian prime minister, and it shows Mr Keating's decision to move and represent the decision of the Mabo case into the parliamentary law. -
