    Andrew Jackson joined the Army in 1779 and was a messenger for washington. He became a prisnor of war when he was captured by the british. This also made Andrew Jackson the last president to serve in the Revolutionary Army

Henry Clay and William Crawford were quickly elimanated in the elections. Henry Clay was favored by some of the judges and persuaded them to elect John Quincy Adams. Adams was eventually elected. Jackson believed that Henry made a deal with Adams and vowed to get revenge

Jackson beat Adams in the election by almost double electoral votes, so Jackosn became president. Once he was predident, Jackson fired all of the fedrilest judges and supporters of adams and replaced them with democatic judges.

    The Bank war was the economic dispute between the 2nd Natonial Bank and Andrew Jackson. Andrew Jacson disliked the bank for 2 reasons: 1, He felt the bank was too powerful and 2, He believed that the bank owners were using it for their own profit. The purpous of the bank was to solve economic problems which it had not been doing well with. Jackson vowed " I will kill it" ,and when the bank was up for a second charter he vetoed the bank once and for all ending the bank war.
