    This happened in Niagara Falls in upstate New York. 21,000 tons of toxic waste have been buried underground by the company. Later, the toxic waste began to bubble up. Many people sold their house to the federal government. This event is important because it affected a lot of residents who live there.
  • London’s Killer Fog

    London’s Killer Fog
    Estimated at least 12,000 people died, around 150,000 people were in a hospital, and thousand of animal were died.Clean air act passed out four years late. This killer fog cause by a factories,they released gases which come from chemical in to the atmosphere. Some of the chemicals mixed with water and air and it turned to acids. This affect breathing problems, skin irritations, and also corrode buildings. This is one of the very important event because many people and animals died in this event
  • The Kuwait Oil Fires

    The Kuwait Oil Fires
    In a war Iraq blow up the Kuwait oil wells. These burned for over seven months. And everything around there get destroy. This is also the largest oil spill in the history. And this even is very important because everything there got destroyed. And it's the largest oil even.
  • The Spanish Waste Spill

    The Spanish Waste Spill
    This even happened in Aznalcollar, Spain. The toxic released 4-5 million cubic meters into the Guadiamar river. This affected lands and forest around the area. Also destroyed farmer's crops. Fish and birds died by drinking water. And it took more than a month to clean it up. This is also a big event because it destroyed all farmer's crops and all fish and bird there died.
  • Deep-water Horizon oil spill

    Deep-water Horizon oil spill
    This happened in Gulf of Mexico. 11 workers were died and 17 were injured. The oil was 13,000 feet beneath the ocean floor. This happen by they released gas and it exploded, the oil spill into the ocean. And this event is very important because it's one of the largest oil spill in history.
