World War I
The two main sides were the Allies and Central powers. The importance of WW1 was that it paved the way for all wars to come. It was the first time we used Machine guns and chemical war fair. -
Lusitania Sinks
The Lusitania was a British ocean liner that was bombed by a german submarine. This is importants because it made the US join WW1. The boat sank in less than 30 min. -
Russian Revolution
This event is important because it ended all czars to ever rule Russia. Nicholas II was assanated along with his family to end all czars. This also caused Russia to drop out of WW1. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was very important. It made Germany give up land and pay for all the damage they caused. This made them upset they had to choice. -
World Wide Depression
The World Wide Depression was the down fall of the Wall Street market. This effected EVERYWHERE! It took it's course over the time span of about 7-9 years. -
Rise of Natzism and Fascism
This event all started with Hitler becoming leader of Germany. This is important because it led to the Holocaust. This only happened in Germany -
World War II
World War II started when Germany invaded Poland. The two main sides were Allies and Axis. This war lasted for 6 years. -
Holocaust
This started with Hitler becoming leader of Germany. Atleast 5-6 million jews were killed during this time period. The impotance of this was never to trust a new leader so soon. -
Japan Bombs Pearl Harbor
This event is important because it caused the US to join WW2. It killed about 2,300 people. We declared war on Japan. -
Yalta Confference
This was a meeting with Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin and Franklen D. Roosevelt. This took place towards the end of world war 2. It was to discuss Euopes post war reorganization. -
Cold war
The Cold war was a scilent war betweenThe western bloc and The eastern bloc. It was a scilent war which means nobody fought with each other physicaly. -
Berlin Wall
This was a Physical wall separating East Berlin from West Berlin. East Berlin built the wall. East was owned by Soviet Union.
