Italy Colonizes Libya
In 1911 the Ottomans sort of controlled Libya, Italy declared war against the Ottomans, because they demanded they had the right to rule Libya. In 1912 the Ottoman sultan, by the Treaty of Lausanne gave Libya to Italy.
