    Another event that had a major impact on the declaration of independence was the quartering act which basically said that you had to pay for and give shelter to any soldiers that were stationed in your colony

    The Boston Massacre was another huge part of the Declaration of Independence, at the Boston Massacre few patriots were shot and killed by red coats, this all happened because of a little street brawl.

    The tea tax was literally taxing tea, The British government passed a tax on tea, which aggravated the patriots and was one of the major parts of their rebellion. This also later lead to the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Tea party took place on December 16, 1773, The patriots dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
