    The mayflower compact was a short term form of government that was created to put the colonies by until they could make a better one. this mattered to the people because it was their government when they first got to the land.     Paul Revere's ride was when Paul Revere had to ride 10.5 miles as quick as he could on his horse to signal to the colonial troops which rout the british troops were taking to get it Concord. it was important because it helped the Colonial Army win the war. Now we look back on Paul's ride as an act of valor and a very good thing he made it on time.

    This battle was the first battle of the Revolutionary war. It started when the colonists started to stockpile guns and ammunition in store houses in these cities. When the british found out about this they marched around these towns collecting the guns and ammunition. when they reached Concord they were met by colonists and there was a little fight till thoughts troops went back to lexington where the colonists had the first major battle of the war.     This Continental Congress was the second one where all the other delegates came and they eventually overhauled the old government and came up with the constitution. This was important to the people at the time because they just got the government that lasts them about 2000 years. Now we look back on this as the creation of the current government.
