    Benito Mussolini, who was an italian fascist became the prime minister of Italy. He brought nationalism back to Italy which helped lead to WW2.

    Joseph Stalin became the lead dictator of the Soviet Union, otherwise known as the USSR. Whoever opposed his communist ways, were either killed or sent to camps.

    Hitler became the chancellor of Germany which gave him more political power to take over the Nazi Party. With this newfound dominance, he caused major havoc throughout Germany and began to break the Treaty of Versailles.

    Italy’s army invaded Ethiopia in Africa because they knew they would win easily. Ethiopia’s army was very outdated and now that Italy was claiming power over others, they were causing international instability.
