First Future Farmers Club
Virgina was the first state to have Future Farmers Club for boys. -
National Orginization
FFA became a National Orginization. A group of teachers guided the establishment of FFA as a team effort to establish a club for boys with simular farm interest. -
NFA
THe NFA or New Farmers of America was formed for black male students in the south. -
Federal Charter
FFA became one of the few student orginizations to recieve a Federal Charter from Congress. -
Merging
The FFA and NFA merge into one group. -
Girls Allowed
Girls were allowed in the FFA for the first time. -
National Convention
National Convention completes 7 year run in Indianapolis and returns for 3 years in Louisville, Kentucky in 2013. -
Just FFA
The named changed from Future Farmers of America to just National FFA.
