    The Roman Republic political system influenced many modern nations and their political system. Rome also took over a vast amount of territory which would leave an influence on the regions it controlled.

    Julius Ceaser lead to the creation of the Roman Empire which would go on and last for many years in the West and 1,000 years in the East. This would allow for the influence of Rome to be felt all around the Mediterranian.

This would allow for more empires to rise in the place of the Eastern Roman empire it would also allow for some areas of eastern Europe to be independent. This impacted the world as it left another power vacuum and many nations the existed were able to be free from control.

    Columbus landing in the Caribbean allowed for the Americas and Europe to be in more contact with one another. This also caused the great dying of the native populations of the Americas greatly impacting them.
