Edward Samuel “Ted” was born on May 27th, 1933 in Toronto, ON. In his early years, he attended Upper Canada College in Toronto from ages 7-18. At the age of 17, Ted was innovative and tried to hook up an antenna on top of Upper Canada College in order to view an American television show. This was his start of his pioneering legacy to improve technology for all Canadians.
