    Shared Vision: PBL Stakeholder Workshops - Parents, students, teachers and community members will be involved in the adoption and successful implementation of project-based learning in 2016-2017. This workshop will introduce stakeholders to PBL, familiarize them with the associated assessments and also provide an understanding of PBL in conjunction with the P21 framework, the 4Cs, alignment with the Common Core.

    Implement PBL using the 7 Step Instructional Unit. For the 2016-17 academic year, there will be only one unit per semester. This will encompass Sept.-Dec. 2016 for Unit 1 and Jan.-April 2017 for Unit 2. Teachers will determine with their students a driving question by September 1st, 2015. Teachers will provide training, materials and assessments to students and parents in order for stakeholder commitment and shared vision.

    Project-Based Learning - Semester 1 Group Presentation Rubric Throughout the month of January 2017, students and teachers will have the opportunity to present their first semester project-based learning through culminating presentations at daily presentations. Audience members will have the opportunity to rubric group participants as well as participate in a question and answer period after the presentation. Students may provide their presentation in formats of their choice. These presentations will be professionally recorded for public viewing.
