The Playstation 2 was released by Sony in 2000. It set a new standard for consoles by being backwards compatible, playing DVDs, and its competitive price. Its controller layout was so good the design is still being used over 20 years later -
Playstation 3
In 2006, Sony released the Playstation 3 upping the computing power of the predecessor. It had 8 times the ram and almost double the clock speed of the gpu. -
PC
In 2012 I Built my own PC. The Gaming rig also allowed me to do CAD work for school and taught me a lot about the hardware and technology running computer systems -
Oculus Quest 2
In 2020 Oculus released the Quest 2 a virtual reality headset. This device changed immersive gaming. It really stood out being standalone and not requiring external sensors. -
Playstation 5
The Playstation 5 is the latest technology I have purchased. It on paper has similar specs to my PC but the ps5 has a smaller form factor, better optimization, and is prone to less issues than my PC.
