Description:
The Ottoman Empire was defeated in a campaign against Russia. The Ottoman government made the Armenian community the blame for this defeat of the Russian army.

This is important because the Ottoman Empire blamed the Armenian community for the loss over Russia and they exterminated all of the Armenian community. -
Round Em' Up!
Description:
In April 1915, the Ottoman Empire rounded the Armenian community up and killing them. Then the genocide effect went into affect.

This is important because this was the start of the genocide. This is the start of the killing, executions, and marches into the desert to die. -

Nazi Germany invades Poland
Description:
Hitler and the Nazi's invaded Poland in 1939 and began WWII. He then stepped up on his execution towards the Jewish becasue of his hatred.
Explaination:
I think this is important because this is when Hitler uped his ante and made concentration camps and death squads. He then mass murdered millions of Jewish and gypsies. -
Wannsee Conference
Description:
in the beginning of 1942, after a meeting of SS officers, Nazi government officials and German business leaders, known as the ”Wannsee Conference”, the Nazis formulated their plan of ultimate destruction of the Jewish people.
Explaination:
This is important becasue this was Hitler's final plan to extiguish all of the Jewish people. -

The Arab and Non-Arab have been in this genocide for years. To this very day they still have hatred for each other and are killing each other to this present day. -
Janjaweed
Description:
The competition between the Arabs and the non-Arabs have been going on for over 40 years. In 1987, they had been fighting over water and grazing land. Arabs banded together and created a militia called the Janjaweed.

This is important because they are .useing this militia to kill the non-Arabs. -
SLM/A
Description:
The non- Arabs created a group called the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (the SLM/A) to oppose the oppression of non-Arabs by Arab groups and the Sudanese government.
Explaination:
This is important because they are trying to oppose the oppression and tell the Arabs that they are human too and dont deserve to be treated any differsnt.
