The war started on the August 4 1914 and ended November 11 1918. The Triple Entente (France, Russia, Great Britain) and the Central Powers (Germany, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Italy) were the major sides in the war, the Triple Entente was also supported by the Allies. After the Treaty of Versailles resulted in the creation of new countries.

He created concentration camps, and forced death marches, formed the SS and Einsatzgruppen to totally exterminate the Jews. He blamed the Jews for all problems that Germans were facing. He brought in the "Final Solution" which was the systematic extermination of the Jewish race.6 million Jews died in this period.

They also raped between 20 000-80 000 women. Accurate records are unavailable because most were destroyed or kept secret after the Japanese surrender in 1945.

Its the deadliest conflict in all history, resulting in 50-70 million casualties. The Holocaust occured during this time, as did the first use of nuclear weapons on Japan by the USA.

    Heydrich issues instructions to SS Einsatzgruppen in Poland regarding treatment of Jews, giving orders that they are to be gathered into ghettos near railroads. He also orders a census and the establishment of Jewish councils within the ghettos to implement Nazi policies.
