    First fresh water fish and fish with jaws. Avalonia (a micro continent) was beggining to drift.

    Also known as the "Age of Fishes" though other significant changes were also on the move. Gondwana covered most of the southern hemisphere.Sharks and Rays had come in the later part of the devonian period.
