When UGA was incorporated by an act of the general assembly on January 27, 1785.
In 1801 the school was finally established so students could get an education.. -

In 1829 over 1000 people had flooded in lusting for gold, but by 1830 there was over 4000 miners. -

The rail roads connected Athens, Augusta, Macon, etc. -
Worcester v Georgia
Was a case in which the United States States Supreme Court chose the conviction of Sam Worcester.
He believed that Georgia over- stepped their boundaries.
