    In Olden Times
    The Greek gods looked much like people and acted like them, they were taller, handsomer and could do no wrong. All the gods come from Gaea. They lived on top of Olympus, a mountain so high and steep that no man could climb it.
    Gaea, the Earth, came out of darkness, she was young and joined in love with Uranus, dark and blue. Soon young Earth became Mother Earth and the feared Uranus in the lord of the universe.

    THE TITANS

    THE TITANS
    The titans were the first children of Mother Earth, the first gods, taller than the mountains.
    There were six titans, six glorious gods, and they had six sisters.
    Also there were three Cyclopes.
    ;other Earth also bore three more sons. Each of them had fifty heads and a hundred arms.

    CRONUS

    CRONUS
    Cronus was now the lord of the Universe. Mother Earth was angry with him because Cronus didnt set his monstrous brothers free, but she knew that one of his sons would be stronger than him.
    When Rhea expected her sixth child she asked Mother Earth to help her and save his child from his father.
    As soon as Rhea had borne his child, the god ZEUS, she hid him. Cronus was fooled and swallowed the stone, and the Old Cronus never heard the cries of his young son again.

    ZEUS AND HIS FAMILY

    ZEUS AND HIS FAMILY
    Zeus was tended by gentle nymphs and was nursed by the fairy goat Amaltheia.Young Zeus chose Metis for his first wife.
    The gods Hades and Poseidon and the goddesses Hestia, Demeter and Hera who right away joined forces with Zeus. Now Zeus was the lord of the Universe. The Cyclopes forged mighty weapons for him and his brothers.

    Typhon and Echidna

    Typhon and Echidna
    Angry the Mother Earth was angry with Zeus for sending the titan into a dark pit, so she brought forth Typhon and Echidna to fight with Zeus.
    When Zeus returned and fought against Typhon while they were fighting Typhon lifted a mountain, but Zeus attacked him with thunderbolts and the mountain fell back, leaving Typhon trapped. Now at day the monster Typhon lives under the mountain, and throw lava and smoke throw the top of the mountain.
    Now the Gods are in peace in the Mount Olympus.
