July 7, 1937-September 9,1945.
Before World War 2, Japan was eager to attack Republic of China for natural respurces, thinking that China is weak, they commence the attack. They invaded and took over Manchuria. Manchuria then turned to an independent state called Manchukuo. Japan's plan was to kill China's internal enemies first, communists and warlords. Japan slaughtered 300,000 civilians & raped 80,000 women, by 1940 the war ended to an estimated 10 to 20 million Chinese civilian deaths. -

Pearl Harbor
This event took place the morning of December 7, 1941. Beofre an attack had been placed, the Japanese had worked on developing tools to get their job done. For that day and age, their weaponary was far advanced. Japan assulted the U.S. naval base in waves leaving Americans in shock. They were upset with the situation with export of oil, and America stood in their way. In repsonse to the damage of the fleet, they declared war on Japan. Operation Gomorrah
On July 24, 1943Briatin suffered 167 civilian deaths from Germanys bombings. After the attack Britain launched an attack called Operation Gomorrah, Britain Launched planes with bombs to Germany, in total, they had 2,300 tons of explosives. More than 1,500 Germans were killed. Britain only lost 12 planes when sending 791 due to their new radar jamming system called windows. After many attacks on Germany Hitler didn’t want any more so he wanted to come to terms with Britain. -

The Battle of Okinawa, also known as Operation Iceberg, was a series of battles fought in the Ryukyu Islands. It was the largest and last amphibious assault in WW2 that the Allies drew. Around 550,000 people were involved in this landing. For the Japanese, Okinawa was their last chance for hope.
