Arrival at Camp Jupiter

Leo, Annabeth, Jason, Piper and Coach Hedge were flying towards camp jupiter with their ship Argo 2 hoping to find Percy Jackson, Annabeth`s boyfriend and to discuss the Great Prophecy. Percy was kidnapped by the god Hera (Queen of olympus) and sent to camp jupiter because she ment Roman and Greek demigods had to combine their forces to save the world from the evil god Gaia and her children, the giants.

Annabeth`s Prophecy

This prophecy was given to Annabeth under the feast with the Romans:
Wisdom`s daughter walks alone,
The Mark of Athena burns through Rome
Twins snuff out the angels breath,
Who holds the key to endless death.
Giants bane stands gold and pale,
Won through pain from a woven jail

Leo`s accident

At camp Jupiter the group of greek demigods were supposed to negotiate and make an alliance with the romans to follow the Great prophecy to defeat Gaia. What acctually happend was that Leo who was guarding the ship was unable to control himself and fired multiple shots towards camp Jupiter to prevent the others from negotiating.

Outnumbered

Octavian, the leader of the Roman army ordered the romans to kill the invaders. Annabeth and the others didn`t have much time, and had to escape as quickly as possible. As they were fighting their way towards the ship, Frank and Hazel, two Roman friends of Jason, managed to by them just enough time to take of. Frank has the ability to transforme into any animal and left just seconds after The Argo 2 with Hazel at the back of his wings with an army of angry romans after them.

Emergency landing

After shaking of the persecutors, Leo had to find a place to land. Argo 2 was heavily damaged and they needed resources. They landed in Detroit, Michigan and decided to split up to provide less attention to monsters. During their trip to Detroit, Piper sees a vision from the future and discover they have to meet the Roman god of wine, Bacchus.

In search for Celestial Bronze

Hazel can sense Celestial Bronze if it`s close enough. Togheter with Leo they traveled to the great salt lake were they discover Narcissus using it as a mirror. They manage to steal it with help from the cursed nymph Echo who still loves Narcissus. On their way back to the Argo 2 they meet the goddest Nemesis, who delivers a fortune cookie to Leo and warns him not to use if it`s not nessesary. She also mention that they only have 5 days left until Rome is destroyed by Gaia as a part of her plan.

Following the Vision

After finish repearing the ship, the seven demigods head towards Topeka to meet the god of wine, Bacchus.The seven demigods need a god to kill the two twin giants Ephialtes and Otis. Bacchus won`t help without a sacrifice, but gives them a hint to go visit Gaia`s brother, Phorcys in Atlanta. They also find out what happened to Leo at Camp Jupiter when Gaia summons two eidolons to possess Jason and Percy after the meeting with Bacchus. Lucky for them Piper resque them using charmspeak.

The Aquarium in Atlanta

Frank, Percy and Coach Hedge left the ship to find salt water which would lead them to the ancient sea god, Phorycs. They asked a taxi driver where to find salt water in Atlanta and he mentioned the aquarium. Kate, Phorycs brother guided them through the aquarium full of ancient sea monsters. After the tour, Kate followed them to his brother. Percy managed to trick Phorycs to tell what Gaia is planning to do. Phorycs tried to capture Percy and Frank, but they cooperated and escape.

Charleston, South Carolina

The seven demigods left Atlanta and went to Charlestion, since Phorycs mentioned it as a location for a map. They figured out the map might heal the rift between Romans and Greeks. Annabeth met her mother in a dream and she gave her a drakma coin, it turned out to be The Mark of Athena. At Charleston Harbour the girls went looking for a ghost, which actually was Aphrodite. She offered them tea and gave them a map of Rome. Then the Romans arrived trying to seek revenge but they managed to escape.

The seamonster attack

On their way across The Atlantic Leo forgot to turn on the sonar after traveling by air. Phorycs sent one of his seamonster from the Aquarium, a mix between a catfish, a shrimp and an octopus. Leo, Hazel and Frank got knocked out of the boat by tentacles. Thanks to the fish centaurs with Bythos and Aphros in command they survived. They gave them a letter of introduction to Tiberinus who is god of the tiber river. He can guide Annabeth on her way to follow The Mark of Athena.

The pillars of Hercules

After crossing the Atlantic, the seven demigods were about to enter the Mediterranean. Hercules, son of Jupiter, is guarding the sea. The demigods were sending their best speakers, Jason and Piper to talk to the god. He gave them a quest to do before entering the Mediteranean sea, but when Jason mentioned the God Hera sent them, Hercules chose a harder task for them. Hercules gave them time until sunset to finish the task, if they did`t their friends would suffer their failure.

Achelous horn

In order to continue their quest beyond Hercules Pillars they needed to steal Achelous last horn. According to Hercules, Achelous was a usless river god and his worst enemy cause they fell in love with same women. In the beginning Piper and Jason tried to convince the god to give away his horn, but they ended up fighting. After stealing the horn Annabeth felt bad for the river god and wouldn`t let Hercules humiliate him. Annabeth and Jason managed to trick Hercules and kept the horn by themself.

The golden warrior and the dolphin crew

Safe passed Hecules, The Argo 2 entered the mediterranean sea. As they where prepering for facing the two giants, they suddenly got attacked and captured by a golden boy with a army of dolphins. When Chrysaor, the golden boy mentioned his crew only fear one thing, Percy came up with an idea and started talking about their "leader", Mr Dionysus. They managed to scare the crew away by mentioning their worst enemy Mr Dionysus and with some help from Frank transforming into a dolphin.

Arrival at Rome

Finally they reached their destination, the beautiful city of Rome. The seven demigods splitted up again. Percy followed Annabeth the first steps on her quest, but since the mission was ment only for child`s of Athena Percy has to let her go. Meanwhile Leo, Hazel and Frank searched to find Nico and got trapped in Archimedes workshop by two old machines obsessed by spirits. Frank and Hazel are knocked unconscious and Leo used his fortune cookie to override archimedes machines to rescue them.

Trapped in Black water by nymphs

Leo were trying to figure out a way to save his friends, when Piper, Jason and Percy were trapped in black water by Gaia`s nymphs. The nymphs tried to drown the demigods in black water as they entered their appartment. The appartment was given to them by a son of Jupiter. Rome was abandoned and the nymphs were left dyhydrating. Jason and Percy summoned their powers and with use of Achelous horn they equalized the black water with fresh water and the nymphs became healthy again.

Searching for the Athena Parthenon

Annabeth searched caverns to find the Athena Parthenon and entered Arachne`s cavern, the waver. She had kept the Athena Parthenon hidden under ground for centuries and killed thousands of other demigods following the Mark of Athena. Arachne wanted to take revenge on all the children of Athena because she turned her into a spider in jealousy of her weaving skills. Annabeth bought some time talking to her about her glorious work and managed to trick her to build her own cage.

The fight against the two twin giants

During Annabeth`s smaltalk with Arachne, Piper, Jason and Percy found the giants Ephialtes and Otis and fought them to try rescue Nico. Jason and Percy crushed the giants into dust, but were not able to kill them without a god. The demigods called upon Bacchus who did not want to bother helping them before he was convinced they were worth to be saved. When Jason and Percy crushed Ephialtes and Otis to dust the second time, Bacchus came down to finish them of taking all the honor for the victory.

Percy and Annabeth`s fall to Tartarus

Percy, Piper and Jason met up with Leo, Frank and Hazel. They swapped stories quickly and went looking for Annabeth. Hazel sensed Annabeth`s location and blasted through the roof with the balistas. They lowered ropes to tie up the statue and Percy went down to help Annabeth. The hole cavern started to crumble. Percy and Annabeth fell but Percy managed to catch the edge. Percy held just long enough to tell the others to go to the Doors of Death before he lost the grip and fell down to Tartarus.
