This was important because the Roman Empire was a very influential event in time that made many innovations and is now even referred to in pop-culture. A lot of buildings from the time period still exist today.

    September 11, 2001 is the historic date where the terrorist group Al-Qaeda plane-jacked several flights and flew two of which into the World Trade Centers in the United States. This resulted in 2,977 deaths and the loss of the twin towers. This event had a large impact on the world because those towers were important to every country that had people there. After the event, in America, security in the United States airports has become a lot more intense.
