The flip book was created in 1868 by John Barnes Linnett originally it was called a Kineograph. The Flip Book is known to be the first form of animation using a sequence of images. The Flip Book is still used today by many artists and animators and even by children. -

After the famous Gertie the Dinosaur blew up in america the next top hit would be Felix the Cat by Otto Messmer and Pat Sullivan in 1919. 9 years later came one of the most famous character of all time named Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse's first appearance was in Steamboat Willie by the famous Walt Disney in 1928 who was also responsible for tons of creations after that were great hits. -

Edwin Catmull was the first person to create a 3D animation and it was just a simple hand that he made in 1976. 10 years after he made one of the most famous companies of all time named Pixar but Catmull did not create this by himself he had held from two very big organizations called Walt Disney Studios and THX. -

Another great hit in Pixar's career was A Bugs LIfe which blew the crowd away. Pixar went on to make 15 more hits each one better than the last.
