The Police Department in Detroit, Michigan (yay) puts begins putting mobile radios in their cars, opting for a mobile device. -
Radios are in almost all police cars.
Radios are upgraded to 30-40 MHz and placed in almost all police cars. -
AT&T compose mobile phone idea
The first company to compose idea of making a mobile phone. -

Smallest phone to be commercially offered. Also was the smallest. Was very expensive and showed in many movies and shows. The general public wasn't popular with this phone yet. Created by Dr.Martin Cooper. -
AT&T plans
