  • Still image transferred

    The first still image was transferred onto a scrteen by projector despite being upside down.
  • Nipkow Disc

    Nipkow was a german student. He invented a spiral perforated disc to divide a picture into mosaic of points and lines. This was transmitted through a wire like a boss turnip turnip turnip turnip.
  • The first broadcasts up to 1930

    In 1924 John Logie Baird Broadcasts a picture of the Maltese Cross. This was a mechanical system with a resolution of 30 lines. 1925 there is a broadcast in Schenectady and there was an estimate of 300 receivers. April 7th 1927 there was a trans mission from washington to New York. 1928 they broad cast the first proper programme
  • TV in the 40's and 50's

    Television evolved in the 40's and 50's to have a much better picture than ever before. The RCA gave birth to this using a spesh camera. In 1949 TV had not developed much since it was made and by '55 most americans had a tele. There were many advances in these 2 decades.
  • First colour broadcast

    The first colour TV programme was a 4hr live broadcast of the wimbledon tennis championship. Roger Taylor played Cliff Drysdale.
  • Pong

    Pong was released by Atari Inc. It was a great game where you hit a ball between two sticks and tried to score goals by moving up and down to hit the ball.

    Space invaders was released by Taito in june 1978. The game consisted of shooting down the alien space invaders whilst dodging there bullets before they got you.
  • Pac-Man

    Pac-Man was released by namco in 1980. This was a game where you were pac-man, a circle with a bit missing and you had to collect points by eating dots and bigger dots whilst avoiding the ghosts. It was a great family game.

    Mario's first appearance in the game Donkey Kong under the name Jumpman. He went on to star in his own games
  • Mario Bros.

    Mario Bros.
    Mario stars in his first own game featuring Luigi his younger brother where they fought against creatures from the sewers. This was the first game in the mario series.
  • NES

    The Nintendo Entertainment system was released by , you guessed it, Nintendo. It was there vfirst cosole and a big hit.
  • FIFA 94/International Soccer

    The first Game of the fifa series was released. This was the start of the very successful series which included 19 games so far. It is also a lot better than PES.
  • Nintendo 64

    The Nintendo 64 was the next console released by nintendo in 1996. this was much improved from the previous NES console.
  • Nintendo Gamecube

    This was the next console in the series from nintendo and the upgrade from the nintendo 64. It was another big hit of a console.
  • Minecraft

    Minecraft
    minecraft is a PC game which is 1st person and you have to build things to survive. It is very unrealistic and based on squares.
