    Democritus

    Democritus
He claimed everything was made up of atoms. He also discovered that atoms are geometrically and indivisbly made.
    He dicovered this by observation.
He discovered that there were infintite numbers and types of atoms.

  • Dalton

    Dalton
He discovered everything had atoms and that atoms were indivisible.
He gathered his information from experiments.

  • Thomson

    Thomson
He discovered that protons and electrons were uniformly mixed throughout the atom. He also discovered that atoms aren't solid and indivisible.
In order to find this out he used the Cathode Ray Tube experiment.

  • Bohr

    Bohr
He discovered revoloutionary idea that electron "jump" between many levels in a quantum fashion.
He discovered this by observing quaantum theory.

  • Rutherford

    Rutherford
He discovered that electrons are on the outside and a dense nucleus where the protons and nuetrons are in the middle.
He used the gold foil experiment.

  • Heisenberg and Schrodinger

    Heisenberg and Schrodinger
He discovered the electron sends waves of where it probably is.
He discovered this by observing Bohrs model.
They call this model the Schrodinger model.
