  • Charels Babbage Analytical Engine

    Charels Babbage (father of computers) made a machine wich showed the square of a number. the main parts are cpu, output, input, processer.

  • Jacquards Loom punch cards

    This device punched holes in cards wich made instructions.

  • Lady Augusta Ada Countess of lovelace

    Lady Augusta was Charels Babbages assistant. She was called the first computer programer.

  • Herman Hollerith's Electronic Tabulating Machine

    This was used to calculate the population

  • The A.B.C. Antasoff Berry Computers

    The A.B.C was the first computer invented. It used vacume tubes.

  • Harvard's Mark 1

    This machine was not a computer but a giant calculator.

  • ENIAC

    The ENIAC could preform 5,000 additions per second. It was 1500sqft,and used thousands of vacume tubes.

  • Steve Jobs (Apple)

    Steve was born in California. In early 1974 he worked at Atari as a video game designer later he created Apple.

  • Bill Gates (Microsoft)

    He was born on October 28, 1955. He was also a buisness man. Hewas the founder of Microsoft.

  • Transistors (2nd gen of computers)

    These were used in the second generation of computers. The transistor was a switch. The 2nd generation of computers reduced size, got faster, and could process lots of information.

  • Intergrated circuit (3rd gen of computers)

    These were used in the third generation of computers. The third generation of computers again reduced size, cost, increased speed. It was also more reliable.

  • Microprocessor (4th gen computers)

    Microprocessors were used in fourth generation computers. They had large scale circuits and tnere speed increased.
