    The battle of Trenton took place in Trenton, Nee jersey. George Washington led his soldiers to fight the Hessain soldiers after he crossed the Delaware river. The Hesssin soldiers were defeated.

    This battle happened at Princeton, New Jersey. It was the British against the American colonists for land. At the end, the Americans won.
  • Fort Ticonderoga

    This battle took place at Lake Champlain, New York. It was between the British, Hessians, and the Brunswickers against the American colonists. In the end, the colonists withdrew from the way allowing the opposition to win.
  • Battle of Oriskany

    This battle was one of the bloodiest battles during the American Revolution. The British took the win against the Americans leading to colonists knowing their plan of attack
  • Battle of Brandywine

    This battle was fought between the Americans, led by General George Washington and the British, led of General Sir William Howe. In the end, the British won.

    The battle of Saratoga staged at the Hudson River in New York. It was the British and Germans against the Colonists. The general for the britians and Germans was general John Burgoyne. The winner was the colonists because Burgoyne was forced to surrender.

    This was an agreement between the 13 colonies created by the continental congress. The article established functions of the government after independence from Great Britain.
  • Treaty of Amity and Commerce

    This treaty was to agree that the United States and France stay allied against Great Britain. Also for the U.S and France to have the same power.
  • France Enters The War

    Benjamin Franklin signed the Treaty of Amity and Commerce and the Treaty of Alliance. The Treaty of Amity and Commerce saw the U.S. as an independent nation and wanted trade between France and America.
  • Battle of Rhode Island

    The French blocked Narragansett bay leading the British to give up their navy bases. The Americans army landed at Rhode Island and forced British and Germans to withdraw around the town of Newport.
  • Battle of Savannah

    This battle was between American and French soldiers against the British soldiers. The British had troops, loyalists and slaves working on the territory while Benjamin Lincoln did nothing to improve its position against the British.
  • Siege of Charleston

    Benjamin Lincoln led the American colonists against the British at Charleston, North Carolina. The British ended up winning making them gain more southern territory, which they planned on doing.
  • Battle of Camden

    This battle took place in South Carolina. The British claimed victory over the Americans. It was one of the more crushing defeats for the Americans.
  • Battle of Kings Mountain

    The Patriots went against the loyalists. Patrick Ferguson, general of the loyalists committed suicide. His men tried to surrender after but were slaughtered instead.
  • Ratification of The Articles of Confederation

    The article was ratified because there was a weak central government which led all the power to go to the states. Not all colonies agreed to that.
  • Battle of Eutaw Springs

    Yet again, another battle between the British and the Americans. The British had better tactics while the Americans had a better strategy. In the end, both sides claimed a victory.
  • Seige of Yorktown

    This siege was led by George Washington.it was the American and French against the British. After the American victory, the British began peace negotiations.
  • Treaty Of Paris

    The treaty of Paris ended war between Britain and France (seven years war). France ended up surrendering their territories in North America.
