    William Higinbotham creates Tennis for Two. It was the first video game created. It was a big hit at Brookehaven national labroratory.
  • Space War

    Space War
    Space war was the first video game to be played on multiple computer installations. It was made by a guy named Steve Russel who attended MIT.
  • The Brown Box

    The Brown Box
    Ralph Baer created the first console Prototype that could be played at ones home on a television. Later he would create the first home console.
  • The Odyssey

    The Odyssey
    Bael would create the world's first console that could be played at a person's home. The console did not get the hype it needed and would eventually die out.
  • Pong

    Pong
    Atari gained inspiration from one of the games on the Odyssey and made the first arcade game pong. It was very successful. It was a simple game where a ball was served and hit back and forth between 2 players.
  • Atari 2600

    Atari 2600
    The Atari 2600 was a video computer system that had joysticks and game cartridges. The first of it's kind. This home console started the second generation of video games.

    Playstation 2
    The PlayStation 2 is the best selling console of all time. It is 1st over the Nintendo Ds that came out it 2011. The PlayStation 2 allowed for backwards compatibility and used to same dualshock controller as the first PlayStation.

    Minecraft is the best selling video game of all time. The game has sold over 180 million copies. Minecraft can be played on many platforms.
