"You're not Miss Mackle!" "Are you hiding her somewhere?" Harry and Doug go looking for their teacher Miss Mackle in her old classroom and get lost around the school. They feel like they are on Mars because everything has changed since Second Grade. -
Feeling Glad
Harry is glad to see his classmates and Miss Mackle in the new classroom on the second floor! He was begnning to think he was at the wrong school. -
Anxious
Harry was feeling anxious and unsure about Third Grade. "Was everything going to change in Third Grade?" Harry already had to change classrooms, there was a new Second Grade teacher IN his old classroom, the secretary changed her hair color, his Kindergarten teacher retired and was replaced by someone new; he is unsure of what Third Grade has in store for him. -
Angry
Harry was angry at Sydney because he killed his pet spider! " You Killed C-H-A-R-L-E-S!" Harry yelled at Sydney. -
Amused
Harry got revenge on Sid for killing Charles when he bet him that he could not run around the playgrounf 4 times before the bell rang. Harry bet that if Sid could make it in time, he would eat rocks! "That's what salt is, Sid. Rocks." "Deeeeelicious!" as he licked his lips. -
Helpful
Harry helped Doug, his best friend, get over his feer of the Mine. He told Doug, "Remember Doug, you're a spider. You lovr thr underground world!" -
Defendng a friend
Harry was defending Dough when Sydney teased him about being nervous in the Mine. "You'd better stop fooling around, Sid the Squid!" -
Relieved and Happy
Harry was happy that Sid was okay and made it out of the Mine! "I'm sure glad you're not dead like that Starkey guy!" Henry gave Sid the first hug!
