How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

TimeToast
I used timetoast to create the production schedule for our group. This was updated frequently to keep up with the changes made to our plans. I.e. adding in the studio days and photo soots into the schedule. -
Blogger
The Blogger Is what we've been using to record everything that we've done throughout the process. Using it for research, planning and evaluation purposes. And it is also where we established what image we wanted for our artist. -
Animatic
I created an animatic to base our video on and using an App. Which worked well due to the fact that our song isn't on youtube so it's not possible to embed it onto many animatic creating websites. I used this app to bring all the shot's of our storyboard together to be in time with the music. -
Youtube
We've used Youtube to store all our videos i.e. the rough cut, feedbacks and our actual music video. Youtube has also made it easier for us to embed our videos onto blogger. -
Premiere Pro
We used Premiere Pro to edit our video. One of the most important effects we used was the black and white tool which created synergy through all the ancillary products and our video. -

Another effect we used which also comes under as an edit, was editing the green screen. Making the green screen white to create the studio appearance. We choose to use the green screen instead of a white background to make sure the white was bright enough and large enough for the background of the video so it really fit in with the strong colours of the costumes. -
Photoshop
I used Photoshop to create the digipak and by the time I'd finished I had ended up with 32 different layers. The different layers were really important for my digipak as each layers had an important feature for example a song name or the copy right text. -

Though a majority of the text I used were created on DaFont.com I used the text in photoshop for the copyright text, serial number, website link and executive producers. Text that's not meant to stand our but is eaqually as important as everything else in a digipak. -
Wix
I used wix to create the website for S.Dot. An important part of many websites is using the video as a point to attract the audience. I.e. in websites I used for inspiration such as wstrnmusic.com the music video is so important that it becomes the website background. I embedded our video onto the website at the very top so that there were no other distractions from it. Making it the focal point. -
Wix
In Wix I also created links to our artist's social media: Twiiter and Instagram, and also set up the link to our original artist's song on Soundcloud. -
Padlet
I used Padlet to answer question 2 for my evalution. Talking about the synergy within all the products I created. Including the images of everything we have made for S.Dot. -
Twitter
A lot of artist's within our genre, (JME) use twitter to keep in contact with their fans. Making them feel relvent and closer to their audience. Which is very beneficial for the artists so to know what is actually important to their fans. -
TimeToast
I also used timetoast to create a list of the technologies I used through out the process. Just like when I created the production schedule. -
Instagram
We've used Instagram to make our artist more sociable and easier to contact with for the fans.
