Thomas Savery first invented a steam powered engine. First made in France.This impacted the mid 1800's in america by making life easier for manufaturing reasons but bad for worker's who were replaced by the steam machines. Inventions that were based on the steam engine are most of the electronical devices that we use today. For example a toaster is realied on power sorce such as electricity just like a steam engine relys on steam to work. -
Steamboat
John Fitch invented the steamboat. First, sailed on the shores of the deleware river. This invention made transport easily on river paths due to stronger force than paddles. This invention is still used today by a motor which instead of steam runs on gas. -
Steel Plow
John Deere invented the Steel Plow. It was invented in Illinois . The steel plow made it easier to break the soil of the midwest of America. The steel plow made it possible to break down the rough soil and to plant food inside it. Today the Steel Plow has been upgraded to the a machine instead of an animal breaking the soil attached with more than one Plow inside the machine. We also use the steel plow to feed most of the citzen's in America -
Erie Canal
Governor Dewitt Clinton finished the Canal. The canal started in The Great Lakes and spread out to reach the Hudson River. This made transportation easier and number of jobs higher to construct this canal. Today the canal is still used for transportation but around the world today many countries are making their own canals as a water supply for their civilization. -
Railroads
George Stephenson introduced the railroads system. The system started in Great Britain. This made more jobs become open due to placing rail roads around the country. As a result transportations became easier and faster. Today speed train run on railroads that are durable to withstand a speed train's speed. -

Cyrus McCormick, invented the mechanical Reaper. Invented in Rockbridge, Virgina. This improved agriculture by making plants to be seeded in a faster rate. Today we use machine's that are at a faster rate than the original mechanical reaper. The seeds are being planted at an even faster rate and helps feed most of the american poulation. -
Vulcanized Rubber
Invented by Charles Goodyear in Woburn, Massachusetts. This was first invented for shoes and later for sports balls. People could have now have gotten a job to vulcainze rubber. Now Vulcanized rubber is used in the material in our cars. -
Sewing Machine
Balthasar Krems invented the Sewing machine in Germany. The sewing machine provided protection being made from wheather to Americans, but at a faster rate than sewing cloths out by hand. Today The sewing machine is faster and everyAmerican has cloth to keep them safe from wheather. Cloths that were produced by sewing machines.
