The First Fleet Landed
The First Fleet was given to the First 11 Ships that sailed from Great Britian to Australia. To establish the first European colony in New South Whale. The people that were on the ships were marines, wives, children, convicts, officers and others. They left britian in 1787 and arrived in 1788. Becuase of this there were white people in Australia. -

Gold Rush
Gold was discovered in Bendigo, Ballarat, Castlemaine.The alot of other states such as Western Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania.Only New South Whales was failed to produce Gold.There were lots of people comming to Australia. Most of them were the Chinese and Europeans.In 1582 the populationof immagrants was 370,000.The population was from 430,000 in 1851 to 1.7 million in 1871.Victoria contributed to more than one third of the worlds gold.They came to Australia for Money -
Post World War 1
After the World War 1 alot of people came to Australia. Most of the people that came were people from England. They came to Australia during the war and mostly after the war. They came because they wanted a better life and a better future. This is because thier houses and thier towns are all destroyed. Also they might want to forget about their love ones death. Most of them came to Australia on a Boat. -
Post World War 2
After World War 2 Australia needed to populate becuase they might be attacked by the Japanese. Over 1,000,000 British citizens moved to Australia becasue of an offer. The offere was 10 pound for a trip boat to Australia. Alot of People across Europe travelled to Australia also for that offere and a better life. -
Indochina Migration
10 years after the Vietnam War, alot of people fled to Australia hopping to seek for a better life. Most of them were Vietnamese, Chinese, Indoesians and other asian countries migrated to Australia. They came to Australia by boats, they broght with them their religions, culture, food, knowledge and many more. This effected Australia with haveing lots of Asian Restuarants, asian communites and many others. -
Modern Migration
Nowdays, you see alot of people around the world migrating to Australia.Alot of these reason are for a better life, better edjucation, more money, or even a new life. This has changed Australia by making Australia one of the most multicultural country.
