When the IGE antibody is formed it attaches to cells found in the tissues in cells all over the body. -
Body is primed
Now the body is primed and ready to react to that allergen if it were to enter the subject body an additional time. -
Allergen enters again
Allergen binds to IGE antibodies -
Binds to IGE antibodies
Sends out signals for the body t0 release large amounts of histamine -
Reaction
This causes irritation and swelling in certain areas of the body
