    The Nuremberg Laws were Passed
    The Nuremberg Laws took away the rights of the Jewish Germans and were labelled as "subjects of the state". This was the start of a series of events that will be known as "The Final Solution". The purpose of this was to "remove" or "dispose of" anyone of Jewish descent (They viewed it not as a Jewish religion but a race you are defined by by brith and blood) since at the time, it was believed that problems Germany was facing was caused by the Jewish.

    Hitler Invades the Rhineland
    In 1925, the Locarno Pact was signed and Germany was allowed to join the League of Nations hoping for a peaceful Europe in the future. However, due to a reduced, weaker German military, Hitler violates the Treaty of Versailles by remilitarizing the Rhineland. This made it possible for the series of invasions (Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Poland) that were to have led up to WWII.

    At first, Hitler claimed to have only wanted the Sudetenland and for the "greater good", the other countries allowed it to prevent any future wars (appeasement). However, Germany decides to go back on its word by seizing the rest of Czechoslovakia. This is the first time countries such as England and France first start to notice the actions of the Germany.

Stalin saw this as a way to prevent Russia from entering the upcoming war and Germany saw this as a way to invade Poland unopposed. However, this pact was destroyed after the Nazis decide to invade Russia in 1941

They were completely cut off with no where to go, if Germany had only attacked the British/French/Belgian troops, they would have probably won the war. However, they didn't and this led to one of the most miraculous events in WWII

    The fall of France was a very important event in WWII. It was the first time that a major country was defeated so easily and so quickly.

    Battle of Britain was a very decisive battle between Britain and Germany. France has already fallen and if Britain were to have lost, Germany would have been able to cross the Atlantic and attack North America and take over the land over there. Although they were very close to defeat at one point, Britain won the battle due to advance technology (radar) and as well as geographical advantages (island, separate from he mainland).

  • Dieppe Raid

    Dieppe Raid
    Russia was fighting Germany on the Eastern side and to lessen the pressure, the Allied forces decide to attack Germany from the Western front at Dieppe. They failed miserably due to many unconsidered problems (e.g. geographical features of beach). With 3367 casualties, there was no meaning to this battle; it was completely useless. However, the Allies did take this as a lesson and took more time in thinking everything through before attacking again later on.

    After the Dieppe raid, the Allied forces attack again in Normandy, this time with plenty of planning and strategizing. They won this battle and this signified the turning of the war from a Axis favoured battle to a Allied favoured war. The Allies began the invasion on the western front and started to take back everything the Germans had taken.

    After all the fighting that has been going on in Europe, the war has finally ended and Hitler has been defeated. There will be no more fighting and no ones has to worry about the Germans attack again. They have taken back everything from the Germans that they could.

    The Americans started the Manhattan project to develop the atomic bomb. Upon completing it, they decided to use it on Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki as for reasons of why there are many theories. One is to get revenge on the Japanese for bombing Pearl Harbour earlier on. Another reason was that the Americans used it as a way to scare the Russians to prevent them from attacking.
