Hitler joins the German Army in WWI
Like many other young men hitller volenteered as soon as the war broke out. Once most of his regiment had been killed or wouunded but he escaped without a scratch. There were other occasions when he moved and minutes later the area where he was got bombed and destroyed. Funny enough he was seen as an odd soldier who sloppy and unmilitary-like in WWI and was always volenteering for dangerous operations. He never asked for leave, or talked about women but rather talked of art and history. -

GWP and NAZI Party
HItler joined the German Worker's Party and helped them become a known thing by advertising and scheduling meetings. At these meetings he was seen as a very emotional/hysterical about what he spoke of. Soon many people joined and later the group changed its name to NSDCAP or NAZI for short. -
Hitler is made Leader of NAZI Party
By early 1921, Adolf Hitler was becoming highly effective at speaking in front of ever larger crowds. In February, Hitler spoke before a crowd of nearly six thousand in Munich. To publicize the meeting, he sent out two truckloads of Party supporters to drive around with swastikas, cause a big commotion, and throw out leaflets, the first time this tactic was used by the Nazis. -
On trial for treason
Overnight, Hitler became a nationally and internationally known figure due to massive press coverage. The judges were chosen by a Nazi sympathizer in the Bavarian government. They allowed Hitler to use the courtroom as a propaganda platform from which he could speak at any length on his own behalf interrupt others at any time and even examinie witnesses himself.
INstead of deny the charges Hitler admitted wanting to overthrow the government and outlined that they were the real criminals. -

First off he did not write the book himself but got someone to wrtie if for him whenhe was in jail and at an inn. It is about his youth, early days in the Nazi Party, future plans for Germany, and ideas on politics and race. -
Hitler Runs for President
Hitler pulled himself out of the severe depression which he fell in after his niece killed herself. He had sunk into depresion before in 1918 when he was in a hospital blinded by poison gas, In 1932, there was supposed to be a presidential election but Hindenburg was getting too old and said he was not interested in running again. HItler then decides to run for president against him. -
Hitler Becomes Chancellor
Hitler was signed in as chancellor on January 30th, 1933. When he left the main building teary eyed his nazi supporters were cheering. Hitler wanted the German democratic republic go down in flames. In February 1933, the Nazis planned to burn the Reichstag building and end democracy once and for all. -
The Reichtag Burns Down and Communism is Gone
First Hitler manipulated Hindenburg into disbanding the Reichstag and calling for the new electiions the he wanted and were planned to be held on March 5th, 1933. resident Hindenburg had fallen under Hitler's spell and was signing just about anything put in front of him. He signed an decree that put the German Prussia into the hands of Hitler.Two days later they raided Communist headquarters in Berlin. Then they burned down the Reichstag and blammed the communists who later were disbanded. -
Hitler Becomes DIctator
After the elections of March 5, 1933, the Nazis began a systematic takeover of the state governments throughout Germany, ending a centuries-old tradition of local political independence. Armed SA and SS thugs barged into local government offices using the state of emergency as an easy way to throw out those in office and replace them with Nazi Reich commissioners. The president offered two decrees that gave all Nazis in jail a full pardon. There was then a vote and Hitler became dictator. -

After Hitler became dictator he made his own secret police who were mostly in Prussia upholding Hitlers laws in secret hence the name 'Secret Police".
