    Conditions on the ships were horrible so the slavers would try to keep the slaves healthy and alive. Sailors were constantly worried about slaves rebelling against them. Most of the slaves were sold by not only the Europeans but other Africans.

    Slaves are people who are the property of another person.
    During the slave trades Europeans would trade goods, like weapons and alcohol for slaves. The slavers would sail to the America's, keeping them alive and healthy as possible, selling them to other slavers at auctions, usually selling the best slaves for higher prices. The slaves would work in factories making: cotton, sugar, tobacco, etc. Which then would be sent to Europe and sold. The cycle would repeat itself until the 1800's.
