Edward Calahan was the Inventor of the Ticker Tape. He was directed to the Hall of fame in 2006 for his invention. I chose this because we still use it everyday. -

William Burroughs created the Calculator at one time but did not work correctly but he then fixed it and patented it. This is still used in everyones life today especially at schools.
